Pond, Fountain and Waterfall Cleaning

Leaves, sediment, algae and clogged filters can turn a beautiful water feature into a chore. EVO Professional Irrigation & Outdoor Services cleans and maintains residential ponds, fountains, pondless waterfalls and bubbling features so they stay clear, quiet and running right.

Water features are living systems affected by sun, heat, plants and wildlife, so some cleaning is always part of ownership. We make it easier.

Schedule Service   727-660-6025

Nearly three decades of industry experience.

Rock waterfall flowing into a landscaped pond with water lilies

Routine Cleaning

Inspection of the feature and accessible parts, observation of flow, water level and pump operation, light debris removal, cleaning of accessible filters, standard water treatment, and a service report.

Deep Cleaning

A more intensive cleaning of reasonably accessible surfaces, basins, filters and accumulated debris. We choose a no-drain, partial-drain or full-drain method based on the feature, its condition and the weather.

Algae and Water Clarity

Sun, heat and nutrients feed algae. We manage and control it through cleaning, filtration and water treatment, but it’s controlled, not eliminated for good.

Fish and Aquatic Life

If fish need to be moved during a deep clean, you’ll need a holding container ready and someone to handle them. We don’t take custody of fish and can’t guarantee the health or survival of fish or aquatic plants.

What a Cleaning Visit Looks Like

  • Assess conditions, access, water level and filtration
  • Remove debris and clean filters and accessible surfaces
  • Apply standard water treatment as appropriate
  • Deliver a service report with what we found

What Affects the Price

Every property is different, so pricing is flat-rate for the scope we agree on. These are the things that move the number:

  • The size of the feature and its volume of water
  • How much debris, sediment or algae has built up
  • Access and the cleaning method needed
  • Whether fish need to be relocated first
  • Whether you want a one-time cleaning or a recurring plan

Put It on a Schedule

Our water feature membership plans bundle routine visits and deep cleanings with priority scheduling and discounts on eligible service.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between routine and deep cleaning?

Routine visits handle debris, filters and water treatment. A deep clean is a more intensive cleaning of surfaces, basins and accumulated debris.

Does a deep clean require draining the whole feature?

Not always. We may use a no-drain, partial-drain or full-drain method depending on the feature and conditions.

What about my fish?

If relocation is needed, you’re responsible for moving fish and providing a suitable holding environment. We don’t assume custody of aquatic life.

How often should I clean?

That depends on sun, plants and use. Our plans bundle routine visits and deep cleanings.
