Landscape Lighting Installation
Landscape Lighting Installation Designed Around Your Property
Good landscape lighting is about layers: soft light on paths and steps for safety, uplighting on trees and walls for drama, and a warm glow near patios and entries that welcomes visitors and improves your home’s nighttime presentation. EVO Professional Irrigation & Outdoor Services designs and installs low-voltage LED landscape lighting for homes and businesses across the Tampa Bay area.
Every property is different, so we start with a walkthrough and a plan, then give you a flat-rate quote you approve before work begins.

How Installation Works
Walkthrough
We look at your home, landscape and how you use the space.
Design and quote
Your quote lists fixture types, quantities and detailed placement descriptions as line items at flat-rate prices. A formal lighting design or layout drawing is available separately for an additional charge.
Installation
We install fixtures, run and protect wiring, set the transformer and program controls.
Nighttime aiming
We aim and adjust the system after dark so the light and shadow balance is right.
What We Light
Paths and walkways
Path lights guide guests and reduce trip hazards along walks, drives and garden paths.
Trees and palms
Uplights and well lights show off trunks and canopies and add height and depth.
Architecture
Wall washing and accent lighting highlight columns, stone, entries and façades.
Patios, decks and steps
Downlighting and step lights make outdoor living areas comfortable and safe after dark.
These are common examples, not limits. If your property has an unusual or custom feature, such as a rock wall, a sculpture or an unusual tree, we’ll assess it and propose a suitable way to light it.
Waterfront and Specialty Lighting
Lighting near water takes extra care. We can design and install dock lighting and appropriately selected fixtures for areas near water, using materials suited to wet, humid and salty conditions.
Near sea turtle nesting beaches and other turtle-sensitive coastal areas, outdoor lighting can be regulated. Where those requirements apply, we confirm the applicable rules and select and place fixtures accordingly. A fixture’s color alone doesn’t make it compliant, and requirements vary by location.
What Affects the Price
Every property is different, so pricing is flat-rate for the scope we agree on. These are the things that move the number:
- The number and type of fixtures
- Transformer capacity and the length of wire runs
- Trenching, hardscape and obstacles along the route
- Controls such as timers, photocells and smart options
- Whether you request a formal lighting design or layout drawing, which is offered separately
- Materials, including brass fixtures for coastal and humid conditions
Why Low-Voltage LED
Low-voltage 12V systems are flexible, safer around outdoor spaces and easy to expand over time. LEDs last longer than incandescent bulbs, use less energy and stay cooler. Learn more on our landscape lighting page, or see our lighting membership plans for ongoing care.
